Adopting a friendWe take pride in the fact that we are a no kill/low kill, non-profit 501(c)3 shelter. We do not euthanize dogs or cats just to make room for new ones. We believe that is morally wrong and it's against our Mission. We will only euthanize an animal if it comes to us so aggressive or sick that it will never be able to have a good quality of life.
All adopted pets will be: current on vaccines, spayed/ neutered. Adoption fees are variable - please contact us for more details. Here's what's included in our adoption fee:

We're open to the public Tuesday-Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Other times by appointment only. DIRECTIONS: From I-95 Exit 115, take Hwy 301 N. towards Manning. We are about 1/4 mile on the right, big white sign with green letters "A Second Chance Animal Shelter". Go through gate and our shelter is at the end of the dirt road.
